ABOUT SIX BOROUGHS
Six Boroughs is a music promotion, public relations and project management company established in 2014 by Andy Bryan and Darryl Bailey. We cover all genres of music releases and touring across Australia. Our clients range from international pop superstars and iconic international bands to established Australian legendary bands and upcoming local indies.
Six Boroughs know the Australian media landscape through 20 years plus experience and are able to tailor make a media plan that would suit any artist. Our knowledge enables us to give genuine feedback on what a campaign would involve and if value can be added to your release or tour.
We cover all press, TV, online and radio including specialist radio such as triple j, Double J, Local ABC and community radio to Top 40 radio networks, rock radio and adult contemporary. We present projects to digital service providers such as Spotify, Apple, Amazon, You Tube and work with their teams on the best way to extend reach for our artists.
Our aim is simply to connect people with music and establish new audiences for our artists.
A former marketing executive running Virgin Records in Australia, Andy has taken his skills to the indie world for the past 10 years. A successful manager of some of Australia’s biggest artists and CEO of indie label Stop Start, his knowledge of what works in the Australian media landscape comes from years of practical hands on experience with both local and international artists.
Darryl Bailey has had a long history working in Australian music. With sales roles at Warner Music in the 90’s and starting in promotions at EMI Australia in the early 2000’s he’s both worked in and led teams for the last 15 plus years. Working across all facets of promotion and publicity he has a deep and broad knowledge of what makes a campaign connect. Radio is his specialty and he’s one of the most sort after radio promoters in the country. Known for his honest, no hyperbole approach, Darryl works with some of the biggest global and Australian artists and continues to be EMI Australia’s manager of radio and TV. He’s been the long term radio strategist (and continues to be) for artists such as Halsey, Troye Sivan, Sam Smith, Katy Perry, 5 Seconds of Summer, Paul Kelly, Keith Urban, Meg Mac, KIAN, Something For Kate, Birds of Tokyo, The Avalanches and many more.
