Jordan Kenny

Ever-beloved angel of androgyny, Jordan Kenny, awakens a playful and high-spirited entity. Transcending the listener with a timeless familiarity and a rich sonic vision, his soulful reflections of personal liberation are intertwined with an attention to feeling over genre.

With Jarrah Murray, Lachlan Fitzgerald, and brother Tristan Kenny, Jordan has put together Sydney’s greatest Mock ‘n’ Roll quartet in a decade – a charismatic group known for bringing an otherworldly sweat to their live shows, passionately entangling theatricality and unforgettable chaos.

Jordan has played in front of sold-out crowds at many of Sydney’s iconic venues, including The Factory Theatre, Vic on the Park, The Vanguard, Paddo RSL, Lazybones, The Brass Monkey, and The Lord Gladstone.

Notably, he has had the opportunity to perform two of his songs in Tasmania at The Odeon Theatre, accompanied by the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. He and his band have also showcased at Australian Music Week and Cronulla Jazz & Blues Festival for 2 years in a row. This year, the band are being featured at the Industry Access Music Conference, presented by Australian Music Week, Abbey Road Institute, and Studio 301.

Jordan’s nomadic single ‘(I) Blew The Sun Away’ enjoyed several plays on triple j and Unearthed – the track charted in the Top 10 on the Overall and Indie Charts, and received glowing reviews. His latest singles ‘GRINNING’, ‘Pretend To Care’, and ‘What A Scene!’ received further support from triple j, 2SER, and FBi Radio!

“This is a really confident debut for Jordan. He’s let his grandest ambitions loose and we get the benefits of it with this cinematic and shapeshifting indie pop gem.” – Dave Ruby Howe (triple j)

After embarking on a trip to Europe and performing at The Cavendish Arms in London, Jordan has returned to our shores with plans to release his debut album in 2024!
